Sharissa  is a sporting athlete, fully dedicated and committed to her Taekwando career. She has been training within the sport for the last three years & after only a few months in, she excelled at such a rate that she consistently won gold in her weight category.

She was entered into Nationals by her club and came away with a national champion title in her category. This was the first time Sharissa was scouted to try out for the Great Britain Development program in Manchester.  Shortly after Nationals she was also invited to train with the Squad team at her club which she is now a part of.

Due to an operation on both her knees, Sharissa was unable to compete to retain her title in 2016 and in 2017 sustained an injury which needed time to heal.  She was advised by the National Team not to compete meaning she had to take a back seat again at Nationals.

Off the back of her successes, Sharissa commitment more time into training  and also has PT sessions as well as the normal Squad and training days at her club. She has completed at various Regional and International events and has an array of Gold and Silver medals under her belt.

Sharissa has recently been reselected to train at the British Taekwondo Olympic Training Academy in Manchester which is home to current Olympic champion Jade Jones and world champion Bianca Walkden.

Her greatest achievement so far is getting selected to represent Great Britain at the Junior European Championships taking place in Cyprus this November where she will compete in -68kg.IMG_0377

She has Competed at a few G1 category competitions this year. Tournaments highlighted in bold.

Her goal is to become an Olympic and world champion in her weight category within this sport.

We believe she will achieve her dreams and are looking for sponsorship from your company to encourage and support her on her way to success. She currently trains five days a week, two hours each day and travels from Southampton to the Olympic training Academy in Manchester every two weeks to train which is self all funded.

Competitions within the UK incurs travel, accommodation, coaching and entry fees whilst overseas cost anywhere from £250-£1200 depending on the location.  Around 9 tournaments this year have been overseas

Sharissa would be delighted if you could support her in anyway in her journey to achieving her dreams.  In return she will wear your logo with pride on all her equipment to create more awareness and interest for your organisation. She will also promote your organisation on her Facebook, Instagram and twitter account of which she has a healthy following.

Sharissa would appreciate any encouragement you can offer. If you’re interested in sponsorship, email for more details.
